Brett M. Johnson 
Brett M. Johnson is the former President of Targus Group International, Inc., a leading global supplier of notebook computer carrying cases and accessory products. Targus was a portfolio company of Apax Partners, and was subsequently sold to Fenway Partners. During his tenure as President, Mr. Johnson led a comprehensive restructuring of the business and grew EBITDA from a $2 million loss to $42 million. He continues to serve as an executive director on the Targus Group International board of directors. Mr. Johnson is also the founder and managing member of Benevolent Capital Partners, a private equity fund with investments in real estate, manufacturing and consumer branded sales. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Brown University, an executive MBA from Pepperdine University, and is a member of the Young Presidents Organization.
