Richard M. Grosshandler joined Harren Equity Partners in January 2010 as a Senior Associate. Richard’s primary responsibilities include identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, closing and financing transactions, and monitoring the performance of portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Harren, Richard ran PM MxManage, LLC (d/b/a MxManage), a provider of decision support software for the long term care industry, and oversaw its successful sale and integration with a strategic buyer. Richard’s prior work experience also includes serving as an investment manager at Primus Capital Funds, a mid-market private equity group, where he served on the Board of Directors at Pegasus Tower Development Company, LLC and as a Board observer at Healthcare Management Systems, Inc. Richard began his career as an analyst at the mid-market investment banking firm Harris Williams & Co., where he was involved in a variety of sell-side M&A transactions. Richard graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Case Western Reserve University.
In his spare time, Richard enjoys reading and training in both CrossFit and Krav Maga. He is also a long time baseball fan who still aspires to learn to consistently hit the curveball.
